Words to Live by:

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

Lexy

Who knew that the original K-Bob's in Clovis, New Mexico burned? That is disappointing.

Today was one of those perfect riding days that always proves to be a blessing if you are fortunate enough to be able to actually go riding. You know, the kind of perfect riding weather that usually occurs on Tuesday. After worship this morning we headed west. The sky was overcast, the air was cool, the fields of sunflowers were tall and bright, the traffic was light.

The plan was to go to Clovis for a steak at K-Bob's and by the time we got there, I was pretty hungry. I could smell steak and taste steak but there was no steak for the Original K-Bob's is surrounded by an ugly chain-link fence. The sign says' "We'll be back". Doesn't say when though.

Red Lobster is not a shabby second though. Bright and cheery and cool inside and Lexy was our server. We used to call them waitresses. Is this not politically correct now? Lexy is not only an excellent server, but I believe she is also a future biker. She is so excited about riding her own bike someday. I am all about women riding, especially Harleys. We reminisced about trips we had taken and adventures and mishaps we have experienced.

So, Lexy, if you ever read this blog, this one's for you! Go for it and hope to see you on the road someday!
